This glofish term is allocated to those genetically modified fish kinds that have the fluorescent colours in them. They were first made in back 1999 in Singapore to detect presence of toxins in water. The glofish patents stated it to be illegal to breed and sell glofishes but it maybe invalid in India alongside other asian nations. Most show schooling behaviour(zebra, skirt, barbs/tigers) and you may consider to get more than one pair of the same colour. They grow upto a maximum of 2 inch and are easy to maintain in small or big fishtanks.

Angel fish is a small genus of freshwater fish from the family Cichlids known to most aquarists. The three species of angelfish are unusually shaped for Cichlids being greatly laterally compressed, with round bodies and elongated triangular dorsal and anal fins. This body shape allows them to hide among roots and plants, often on a vertical surface. They prey on small fishes and invertebrate. They form monogamous pairs and cares for their young ones until they grow up.

They are generally found in the shallow clear or turbid moderately flowing streams of Indonesia and Borneo. Their average lifespan is 7 years. When exposed to decreased temperature levels, the Tiger barb fish experiences a change in body colour. The male fish tend to display a bright red colour in the dorsal fin, ventral fin, caudal fin, and snout. When the water temperature drops to 21 °C, both the male and the female fish were observed to have a decayed body colour. When the temperature decreases even further to 19 °C, their distinct stripes even appear to be dimmed.
The globarbs are available in deep fluorescent pink and green colours. They should be atleast kept in a school of six or more of the same kind.

Due to their calm temperament, vivid colours and patterns and dedicated parenting techniques The discus fish has attracted a cult following of collectors and has created a multimillion dollar international industry complete with shows, competitions, and reputable online breeders in several countries in Asia particularly Thailand where it is a major industry. Sexual maturity is reached in a year. When breeding, the pair moves away from the group, possibly to reduce the risk of cannibalism of the young. Additionally, adult discus produce a secretion ("discus milk")through their skin, on which the fry live during their first 4 weeks. They are a delicate kind and a discus only tank or with angelfish is best for them.
